CFAPOA invites those interested in the Chippewa Flowage fishery to attend this Thursday, October 4, 2018, 6:00 PM monthly meeting to hear WDNR Fish Biologist, Max Wolter give a presentation regarding how to achieve a balanced fishery in the Flowage. Specifically, the presentation will focus on a potential program to reduce northern pike similar to a program implemented in Lac Courte Orielles in the recent past. Attached is a COLA news letter with a bio on Max Wolter and the programs that have been implemented in Lac Courte Orielles which includes a northern pike reduction program and fish sticks. As you likely are aware, based on past CFAPOA newsletters, Mr. Wolter had implemented a fish sticks program last winter on the Flowage with tree drops occuring in Chicago Bay and the Banana Islands. We welcome all to attend the discussion and ask a few questions at the upcoming CFAPOA meeting Thursday at the Town of Hunter’s Town Hall on CTH CC.
