Help Wanted for CFAPOA’s Clean Boats Clean Waters Program 2018
We need outgoing people interested in educating boaters and protecting the Flowage to work as inspector-educators at our public boat ramps and for special events around the lake. Pay is $12.50 per hour or can be volunteer. We need staffing on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Training, materials and tee-shirts provided. We also need supervision and administrative help if that better suits your schedule or interests.
Please contact Diane Hulke at: (763) 458-5392. She is conducting interviews in Hayward on April 13 and 14, or by arrangement. Training is available May 4.
This is a great way to give back to our community while protecting your lake property. The CFAPOA runs the Flowage’s Clean Boats program. Last year we inspected over 2500 boats and contacted almost 6000 boaters, the biggest effort in Sawyer County. Invasives like zebra and quagga mussels continue to spread, increasing the need for preventive efforts like this one.
